The next walk is planned for 7th October, starting two hours after when the decoration of the church for the Harvest Service should be complete.  The route this time is the Newtownabbey Way starting at Corr's Corner and finishing at Whiteabbey.  An alternative for some is to get dropped off at Mossley Mill, en-route, which shortens the walk by approximately one mile.  Faster walkers starting at Corr's Corner should catch up before the end.  Overall it is 4.3 miles long and given that it is a linear route it is proposed that a small number of drivers drop off walkers at the start and then drive to the end before walking back up the path to meet somewhere around the half-way point.  As long as we have enough seats in cars at the end to bring walkers back to Corr's Corner then this arrangement will work.  It is therefore important to know how many walkers we need to bring back!  Really enthusiastic walkers, suitably refreshed after coffee, can retrace the path back to the start!

Meeting Time & Place; 2:00pm at Corr's Corner

Finishing Time & Place; 5:30pm (dependent on coffee stop!) at Corr's Corner or Mossley Mill (car park on the lower side of the Theatre at the Mill)
