Meet in the Square car park for a 6:30pm start. Route will be from the car park on to the Doagh Road, past the Free Presbyterian Church, up Foundry Lane past the Presbyterian Church, Hillmount Avenue and through Rathmena to the Rashee Road. The Baptist Church is just beyond the electricity substation. Back down the Rashee Road, then into Victoria Road and Ballyeaston Road to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, left into Ballycorr Road to the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Park Street. Back on to the Ballyeaston Road, North End and into Main Street passing Ballyclare Christian Fellowship beside Falstaff’s, then the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, then the Methodist Church at the bridge. Turn left into Abercorn Drive and into the Memorial Park. Veer left and over the river using the foot bridge and follow the road past the leisure centre and pitches to the Ballynure Road and the Gospel Hall just beyond the Ballyclare Vets Centre. Back towards the town along the Ballynure Road to the Mill Road passing the River of Life. A hundred metres further on take the path on the right into the Six Mile park, cross the footbridge and follow the path closest to the river to the end of the park before looping back and coming on to Avondale Drive. Turn left on to Hawthorn Way and follow through the estate, then take the path across the small park area. Continue up the hill and turn right on to Ollardale Park and right on to Doagh Road. The Church of the Sacred Heart is on the right. Walking the last few hundred metres the next church is St John’s Church of Ireland on the right before returning to the Square car park where The Way Church meets in Ballyclare Town Hall. The total route is 8 km but there are lots of short cuts that can be taken if preferred on the evening of the walk.
