Charity Cycle around Antrim Deanery

David Holmes, Kilbride Parish Church, has organised a sponsored cycle around the 14 churches in Antrim rural deanery to raise funds for the N.I. Chest, Heart & Stroke charity. The cycle will start and finish at Christ Church, Ballynure and the route will take the cyclists to all 14 churches in the rural deanery.

They are as follows;

Christ Church, Ballynure

St John’s, Ballyclare

St Bride’s, Kilbride

St John’s, Donegore

St Patrick’s, Templepatrick

St Jude’s, Muckamore

St Catherine’s, Killead

Gartree, Crumlin

All Saints’, Antrim

St Patrick’s, Antrim

Drummaul (St Brigid’s), Randalstown,

Duneane, Randalstown

Ballyscullion, Randalstown

St Saviour’s, Kells

Christ Church, Ballynure

The cyclists will stop briefly at each church with a longer lunch break at All Saints’ in Antrim which is approximately the halfway point. The route length is approximately 75 miles.
