The Honourable The Irish Society
The Honourable The Irish Society is a grant-giving charity working for the benefit of County Londonderry and neighbouring areas. It also manages property and fishing for the benefit of the local area. Edward Montgomery, a parishioner in St Bride’s and outgoing secretary of the society, will be giving an illustrated talk to the church men’s group and will explore the society’s origins during the Plantation of Ulster, its history and its role in modern times. It should be an extremely interesting talk.
Open to everyone.
