St Bride’s Rambling Group
Last Wednesday the rambling group had a very enjoyable walk in Whitehead when we had 21 walkers. Following on from that our next outing will be this coming Wednesday, 16th August, and this time we will be going to Ballyboley forest where there is a choice of 5 different walks around the forest.
Meeting time and place; 6.00 - 6.10pm at the Square car park in Ballyclare.
Again car-sharing is recommended. Alternatively meet at the forest car park at 6.30pm.
Directions from the Square.
Take the Ballyeaston Road into Ballyeaston village and turn right onto the Lower Ballyboley Road. At approximately 2.5 miles take a left into the Braepark Road (just before Mehargs’ old petrol station). Drive up the hill for about 1.5 miles and turn right into Upper Ballyboley Road, then a further 1 mile where there is a sign for the forest, turn left and follow the avenue up into the car park.
